Tutorial Assignment #3

Tutorial Assignment #3, Part II, Item 2.

Sketch produces a triplet of images side-by-side in the image window, then allows the user to multiplicatively modify the gray-scale values of one of the imags, displaying (from left-to-right) the original color image, a “clean” gray-level version of the image (used to guide the subsequent gray-scale modifications), and a dynamically changing gray-level version of the image. The multiplicative gray-level modifications of the 3rd image are controlled by the horizontal position of the cursor within the first image.

Tutorial Assignment #3, Part II, Item 3.

Sketch produces a pair of images side-by-side in the image window, then allows the user to multiplicatively reduce the red values of a rectangular region of one of the images, displaying (from left-to-right) the original color image and a dynamically updated version of the image. The user drags to select a rectangular region for modification, then executes the modification by clicking within the rectangular region drawn. Clicking on the modified (right) image clears all modifications.
