Homework 1 Problem 3
Processes: Processes are programs themselves being executed. One blocked process cannot affect another process and you are able to process switch through the OS interface. Processes also gives information about the program and is used for security.
Threading: Threading is much quicker and is up from segments of a program. It is also easier to context switch and change between threads. As a result of being this intertwined, the threads have a share memory but will stop working if a thread is blocked.
